The SlamJam Women's Junior High School and High School Basketball Classic, founded by Clyde Frazier Jr., who was later killed in the World Trade Center, has been and continues to be a major force in inspiring young girls and women to obtain college degrees, and a means for many of these young women to pay for college, the means being a college scholarship to play basketball.
While funding sources have become difficult in these hard times, the Friends of Frederick E. Samuel Foundation wants to keep this program alive and give the girls in New York City and surrounding communities a chance to succeed. Your tax deductible contribution will help to make this dream into a reality. For further information, please contact the office at 212-862-4216.
