SLAMJAM SPRING CLASSIC

Dear Coaches;

The Friends of Frederick E. Samuel Foundation Inc. is pleased to announce the 1st Annual SLAMJAM Women's Spring Basketball Classic.

This event is for teams who are looking to get college exposure for high school eligible basketball players. The tournament is for high school aged girls 18 and under, players who have committed to a college will not be eligible or permitted to play.

The classic will be composed of 16 teams who will be playing in a pool of 8 teams. Each team will play 7 games; only the top 7 teams from each pool will make the playoffs. The tournament will run from Monday, April 4th, 2005 through June 1, 2005. All games will be played at The O'Henry Learning Center, located at 333 West 17th Street between 8th & 9th Ave. in Manhattan.

Each team must submit a team roster and participant are required to complete all Slamjam's registration forms. There will be a MANDATORY COACHES MEETING on Tuesday March 22, 7:00 pm at the O'Henry Learning Center. The tournament cost for each team is $300.00 (CASHIER'S CHECK OR MONEY ORDER ONLY). Money orders should be made out to Friends of Frederick E. Samuel Foundation. Mail all information to: Friends of Frederick E. Samuel, Post Office Box 995, New York, New York 10030.

Entries are accepted on first come, first serve basis. Due to the high demand for teams wanting to participate in the league, it is recommended that you submit your rosters along with all paperwork and payment as quickly as possible.
